Welcome to Monday! We had a fabulous weekend and I hope you did too! Kirsten tied for 2nd place at her skating competition and was delighted with her medal!!

I have a cute and cuddly lil critter to share with you today for Karen's Doodles Cute & Cuddly challenge.

Welcome to Di's Digi Challenge day! Our challenge for you this week is to see your Valentine's creations. Here's mine...

I used some of my favorite Valentine's Paper from MME and paired it with this week's Deconstructed Sketch. I just rotated it to fit my image better. The sweet image is Sweetheart Carly and is available at Di's Digi Downloads right now!

My super cute nephew Jaxon turned 1 yesterday. Man how the year flew by! His party was on Saturday and this is the card I made for him.

I have used this super cute pre-colored image called Dragon's Birthday from The Paper Shelter. Such a cute image!! The sketch is from Sketches By Carly and it worked so well with this fun little card!!

Here are a couple pictures
I love this picture of him with his biscuit in his mouth. He had just started opening presents but still was munchin away! Landon was helping with the presents too!

My sister made him his very own cake so he could make as big of a mess as he wanted....this was as bad as it got, so pretty good really. The icing was unreal...so yummy and he kept sticking his finger in to get another taste! Not really sure he loved the cake part although it was delish too, but the icing was fabulous!

It's new release day over at McMahon Five Design today and I have a super cute duo to share with you!

These friendly critters are from the Studio 313 set called Happy Together, which is available at the fantastic McMahon Five Design store.

My card features the sketch from Card & Things #105 this week and I snuck some Bakers Twine in there as well. I have a few buttons on my card which means it's a good one for our Dutch Dare Challenge this week as our theme is Buttons Galore! The cute cow has a button for an eye and the flower has a button center as well!

Oh my, does McMahon Five Design every have another wonderful release today for you!

I am using this sweet hippo and sentiment from the Big Love set that is from the Studio 313 line at McMahon Five Design.

Such a cute image and I paired it with some more of that fun Valentines line from MME and the sketch over at The Pixie Cottage. It's a double challenge and you can use one or both parts...it's a sketch and then embossing is the option. I totally forgot about the embossing when I made my card, so Iw ill just enter the sketch portion!

Sorry for the dark photo, I am going to re-take it as soon as I get home from my bus run. We had a super cold day yesterday (-45 C with the wind chill) and of course that is the day the natural gas guy comes to replace the regulator!! Anyway, so I didn't get much done yesterday while he was here and by the time I got to taking a pict of my card it was dark!

Monday...again, oh how you reappear so quickly!! We are back with a Karen's Doodles challenge again and it's a fun one...Paper Piecing! I have to admit, I don't paper piece very often with digis images, but it was fun and really not so difficult, so I hope you will join us this week!!

My image is called Skater Girl and is from Karen's Doodles online shop. The sketch is from this week's Sweet Stop Sketch...on time I might add:-)
I didn't add a sentiment at all as this card is for one of the figure skaters in our club who broke her leg on Thursday at skating. We are having all of our other figure skates sign the card and have a super cute purple puppy stuffed animal and a balloon bouquet for her to make her smile!

It's Flashback Monday over at McMahon Five Design and I have a fun Valentines card to share with you today.

I have used a super cute set called Mellow Out from Shawne's Studio 313 line available exclusively at McMahon Five Design.

I used last week's sketch from The Sweet Stop as I loved the layout...I actually had my card done but had a couple of DT cards mixed up, so I couldn't play along with this sketch but it's all good! I have used some gorgeous May Arts Pink Ruffle Ribbon from McMahon Five Design as well, it's gorgeous! Paired it with some of the fun Love Me papers from MME:-)

Skating Thank You

It's Di's Digi challenge time again! Our challenge this week is to make a Thank You card. I have made a skating themed thank you card as our club skating carnival will be in March and I need cards for our coaches, so I thought what better than to get started early!!

I have used the adorable Ice Skating Maisy for my image and of course it, along with a ton of other fantastic images are available right now in Di's Digi Downloads. Di's images are so fun to color and she has such a fabulous selection with new ones added every single week! I used the sketch from Willow Sketchie for my layout but I didn't have any buttons that matched, so I went with rhinestones instead:-)

So I was so happy Kirsten & Landon were feeling better, well little did I know that the same tummy bug they had would hit me! I have never felt so sick in my life, man that was a rough couple days. But I am feeling better now and finally catching up with some of my DT duties.

Hello, hello! We are on our Christmas holiday break and it's so nice to get to sleep in. Both my kiddos have had a tummy bug since Thursday, so that has not been fun. They seem to be on the mend today and for that I am thankful.

It's Monday, so that means we have a fun new challenge for you on the Karen's Doodles challenge blog. We would like to see Spots & Stripes on your creations this time.

I have used the super cute Santa Dog from Karen's Doodles fro my image and my sketch is from Sweet Stop Sketches. Happy Monday! This is our last week of school and I am so excited there is only 5 days left until we are on Christmas holidays!

Our challenge for you over on the Karen's Doodles challenge blog is Clean & Simple and here is my take on that.

Bovine Betty Christmas is my image and of course it's available right now in Karen's store. I just added some fun, stripey paper from Jillibean Soup and that's all there is! Monday again, man I sure hope this week i s better than last week. Landon was sick the entire week and I'm stil not even rally sure what he had...but he is better and I am hoping no one else gets it. We have only 10 days of school left before our Christmas break and I just want us all the stay healthy:-)

We have a recipe for you over at Karen's Doodles and it's a really easy one, so i hope you will dust off your Karen's Doodles images and play along with us. You will need to include 3 different embellishments (I went with wee halfback pearls, ribbon and the bow and crystal stickles all over her wings), 2 papers and 1 image...see...easy!

The image is Angel and is from Karen's shop and really could be used for many other occasions as well, but I paired her with some older CTMH papers and went for a Christmas card. The sentiment is from a new set called Holiday Cheer. My layout is from The Sweet Stop, love Korin's sketches!

I have a fun little card to share with you today. This adorable image Merry Penguin is from McMahon Five Design and I just love it!!

I used the Deconstructed Sketch # 28 for my layout. I added shimmer to make it look like snow, but then I couldn't get a good picture because it's so shimmery, but really pretty IRL!

I am off to Okotoks tomorrow to take our dog to my parents place... they are my dog sitters when we go away and we have plans to head to Great Falls this weekend for some holiday shopping. I've had Landon home sick for 2 days, so here's hoping he is better tomorrow:-)

Monday, Monday! it's a short week for us as we are headed to Great Falls, MT on Thursday fro a long weekend to do some Christmas shopping! The kids are excited to have a couple days off school to go on a trip!

Welcome to our Di's Digis challenge this week. Our challenge for you this week is to show us your Fall Colors. I have used a new paper pack from CTMH called Dreamin' and I thought it worked well with my sweet lil friends from Di's Digis.

This image is called These Are Mine and can be found in Di's store along with a really wonderful array of digi images to suit any occasion. I have used Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch from Sunday and just turned it on it's side so everything worked with my image. I also added a few blue flowers to make the blue pop a bit.

Penguin Letters

Our new challenge this week at Dutch Dare is All White, so basically everything has to be white with the exception of your image. I was kinda scared of this one, but it turned out really great! I used the super cute Penguin's Little Letter from Meljen Designs as my image and away I went.

I have used the sketch from over at Sketches By Carly for my layout and all white shimmery paper that I had left over from some wedding invitations and thank you's I did. Of course I added some liquid applique as well to his hat..I don't know what I would so without that stuff:-)

This week just flew by! Here we are at Saturday already!! We are having Landon's kiddo birthday party today followed by my family coming out for a celebration tonight! It should be a fantastic day for all of us.

Saturday also means its Di's Digis challenge time. Di's challenges run every 2 weeks, so there is lots of time to participate and always a fun prize available.

Our challenge for you this time is Ribbons & Bows. I have used some really pretty wide ribbon in behind and a narrower ribbon for the bow and of course the sweet kitty has a pretty pink bow too! I have used the adorable new Daisy Kitten from Di's Digis for my card today and the sketch is based on the one from Crafting Life's Pieces...I didn't totally follow the sketch so I am not going to enter this one, I will use it again before the month is up and follow it properly and then enter that one!

Dutch Dare day is here! Our challenge for you this week is Give Thanks. This is a thank you card I made for my son to give to one of his aunts as it's his birthday today and he received a card with some $$ in it yesterday, so I thought this is the perfect card for him to send to say thank you.

The image is Little Cowboy and is pre-colored (what a great time saver:-)) from The Paper Shelter and the layout is from Deconstructed Sketches. The paper is an older paper from CTMH and the wooden buttons are from CTMH as well.

November 3rd, what a wonderful day! 6 years ago this afternoon at 2:09pm, Lance and I welcomed the sweetest little boy. He is my little prince, a cowboy to the core and I love him to bits!

Happy Monday! We had a wonderful weekend... Saturday was busy but great! I hosted a card workshop featuring CTMH Wonderland papers and then my mom, Kirsten & I went shopping for Landon's birthday...he'll be 6 on the 3rd and I can't believe my lil cowboy is almost 6! Sunday was a hang out day, love those!

So here we are back at Monday, so that means it's time for another wonderful challenge over at Karen's Doodles. This week our challenge to you is Quote It...so create based on a quote or use a quote on your card.

I love The Lion King movie, it's one of my favs and I always seems to be saying "no worries" so I chose Hakuna Matata, which means no worries! This lady doesn't look like she has a worry in the world and thought it was fitting for my card. She is called Happy Feet Woman and is available in Karen's store, along with about 300 other super fabulous, must have images!

I have used Karen's Sweet Sketch Sunday from yesterday for my layout along with some older Bella papers from CTMH as well.

Halloween night tonight, Kirsten skates and then we are headed over to friends for dinner and then we will take the kiddos out and about for some trick or treating! Happy Halloween everyone, have a safe and fun trick or treating night!

I have used a fun little cake image from The Stamping Boutique called Candy Land Winter Cake. I know it says winter cake, but I wanted to use these fun Topstitch papers from CTMH so I colored it to match!

Welcome to Karen's Doodles day here! This week I have a very fun, festive image to share with you, along with a fun sketch too! Our challenge for you is Embossing...so the dots on my corner piece are embossed as are the silvery dots on the paper and I applied some fun pearly white dimensional liquid to the furry parts of the hat and it is popped up and feels nice and glossy too, similar to heat embossing.

I have used this super cute Christmas Tree Guy (I colored the gloves and slippers pink though, so mine's a gal!!) from Karen's hop. It is one of her new Christmas images that were released at the blog hop last month. Lots of great selection over there too for all of your Christmas/Winter crafting needs.

The sketch is from Sketches By Carly from this week! I loved the sketch and it worked well with this image, so I wanted to play along!!

Di's Digis-Halloween Time

Di's Digi challenge time is here again! I love Di's images, they are so cute and fun to color. We have a new challenge for you this week and that is to show us your Halloween Time creations.

I have used this adorable little guy in the pumpkin and I can't find his name because I think he was actually a freebie!! I have a card to share with you today that actually works for a couple of challenges. First being the Dutch Dare challenge this week is an inspiration picture and I have taken colors from there and then paired it with the sketch challenge this week from Splitcoast.

The image is from a gorgeous new set that Shawne has designed for Studio 313 at McMahon Five Design. It's gorgeous and a perfect match for the inspiration pict over at Dutch Dare.

Skating day today for Landon, Kirsten started figure skating on Monday and skates both Monday's and Thursdays and Landon will skate Thursdays after Kirsten. He said he's excited, so hopefully that's the case:-)

Bigsby Christmas Stocking~ SS

Monday again! We had a busy weekend, Friday night Lance and two friends helped sort cow/calves to get ready for our calves to sell on Saturday, so I cooked them up a steak dinner after all their work was done! Then Saturday was sale day, so we were all off to the auction mart for that..however, Kirsten and I did duck out a bit early in hopes we wouldn't smell like the stockyards! We scooted and got groceries and then I made homemade pasta sauce with a flat and two bags of tomatoes from the garden of a friend of our family. So quickly the weekends fly by. So here we are at Monday again already!

Oh wow, I'm a day late..almost 2 for my Karen's Doodles post and I'm terribly sorry about that. It was Thanksgiving here in Canada yesterday and I've had a busy, busy weekend with not enough hours in the day. But hey, it's done and I love it and I hope you'll play along with us this week.

We would like to see DISTRESSING. I have used ink distressing on my edges as well as on the embossed snowflake panel and then used my edge distresser on the sides of my image.

I have used First Taste of Snow from Karen's store and paired it with some new Jillibean Soup papers called Christmas Eve Chowder that I picked up with my last Taylored Expressions KI kit.

Oh thank goodness it's Saturday! We had a wonderful Friday off school yesterday but were gone all day doing some shopping and getting groceries for Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada.

Today I have a card to share with you for our super fun challenge over at Di's Digis. We have a gift voucher available from Crafty Boots. Crafty Boots is a craft supply shop based in the UK and can be found online here.

Our challenge for you this week is to show us your Girly Creations. Easy enough really, isn't it?

I have used the adorable Window Bear from Di's fabulous shop and paired it with some fun papers and flowers. I colored this image with my Prismacolor pencils which I have not used in forever...I was happy with the outcome for the most part, but definitely need waaaay more practice.

Today is a home day! I thought we need a day to just chill before the 5:45am wake up call begins...for me anyway, kids get to sleep in a bit longer:-)

Yes I know it's a shock that I am here two days in a row..wait until tomorrow! I'm on a roll this week!!

Yesterday was my sister and BIL's anniversary and this is the card I made just for them. These were the same papers I made their wedding invites and programs out of so I thought since I still had some it would be perfect for their anniversary card!

The layout is from Tracy's Eat, Sleep, Stamp Sketchy Thursday, my card is square instead of rectangle, but the sketch is still there!

We are off to Costco this afternoon...thought I should stock up on some lunch staples for the kiddos before we start school..only 2 more sleeps:-)

Hey there everyone! Busy week around here, I tell ya! I had a drivers meeting for the start of the school year and picked up my bus, all the fun back to school business. So now we are just enjoying some down time waiting until school starts September 1st.

I am off to a wedding shower in the morning and thought I would share the card I made for the beautiful bride to be.

I used the layout from Sketch N Stash and the adorable Wee Suzi from Wee Stamps. I love Sylvia's work and this image is so very sweet.

Just a short sweet post from me today as I have some DT work to get busy on, a baby and an anniversary card I still need to make before tomorrow...crunch time!!

Good Monday morning! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! We sure did! Didn't do anything exciting, but it was great to just relax. We did celebrate Lance's birthday yesterday (his birthday was actually Friday) and had his Dad and Carol down for supper, it was great!

Oh man, I thought I was on top of things, but apparently not! Sorry for the delay but I am back now with my Dutch Dare card. We have a fab sketch over on the challenge blog today and I hope you play along. Sketch challenges are one of my very favorites.

Thursday already??? Wow this week has flown by. That means only one more week until we are on holidays!! Yay!

I am back with a fun challenge for you from Dutch Dare (Buttons, Brads, Bows and Bling) as well as Little Darlings (Buttons & Brads or Eyelets) and a great sketch from The Sweet Stop.

I am using some gorgeous Springtime paper from Echo Park, an adorable little fella from Little Darlings, ribbon from Lacey at Stamp and Create, twine from The Twinery, button and sparkly brads from CTMH and a bit of shimmer with a stardust pen. Hotspot Challenge Time HSC6

***This is my second post today, please scroll down for my Dutch Dare~Summer Fun Creation!***

It's challenge time again over at The Hotspot Challenge. This month we are talking about the Top 3 vacation spots in the USA, California, Las Vegas and Florida and here is a pict for you to use as inspiration.

Here is my card using Clowning Around Molly from Studio 313 available at McMahon Five Design. I used the colored version of this fun digi image! I just really like the wild and crazy nature of this fun girl, paired with the glitter of the paper and added bling...so yes, I chose Las Vegas as my inspiration. Lance and I are fortunate enough to go to the National Finals Rodeo every year in Las Vegas and I love it!

I used the sketch from Card Patterns for my layout..although I added a couple things, the layout is from the sketch.

So hopefully you can draw inspiration from this fun pict as well as the rest of the DT creations and play along with us for your chance to win $25 in digis from McMahon Five Design. You will even earn a free digi Coco-Loco just for playing along!

Summer Fun with Dutch Dare, SSS115

Hello, hello! I am back today with a sweet little image from Di's Digi Downloads for the Dutch Dare Challenge this week.

She is too cute if you ask me! This image is called Hello Ladybird and can be found on Di's Digi Downloads site along with a ton of other fabulous images. Di does send out a new release every Monday, so there is always lots in store! I paired her with some fun new papers from My Mind's Eye called Lime Twist-Happy Go Lucky.

I have used the fabulous sketch from The Sweet Stop for my layout. I really love Korin's sketches and haven't played a long in a while, so it was nice to join int he fun over there again!

Our week is great so far, we are going to stay in town tomorrow after swimming lessons so that we can meet up with some out of town friends and the kids can swim some more, so that should be good. Our weather has been absolutely beautiful here all week, so I am crossing my fingers for the same to continue!

Double Trouble time over at Karen's Doodles this week...well it could be more than that if you choose! We would liek to see you use more than 1 image in your creations this wek.

I have used 2 images on mine today... Fun In The Pool and Fun In The Pool Girl .

I have used some fun new papers by Jillibean Soup called Watermelon Gazpacho Soup! I liked how the sentiment popped of the orangey pattern paper, so I just left it like that! I used liquid glass on the kids snorkel mask as well as the water for some added dimension.

I hope you had a fabulous weekend!! Today I have to pick up 3 grade 9 students for a final exam and then as soon as they are all finished, I take them home and I am done for the summer!! I am looking forward to it!

Our challenge for you this week is Perfect Purples. My paper is kind of pinky purple, but it works! I have used the funky Birthday Fairy as my image along with this weeks sketch from Sweet Sundays. We are down to one day left of school here...yipee!!! I may have to pick up a few kids on Monday for an exam, but will be done by 11:30, so either way it's ok.

Oldie But Goodie & DDCC 117~For The Boys

Here I am multitasking again!! I have one card that works for a couple different challenges and DT commitments. First off is Karen's Doodles, Oldie But Goodie day and I have used It's Your Day for my image. Although this is one of Karen's older images, you really need to check out her website as she has just released some fabulous summer images!!

Next off is Dutch Dare Card Challenge and our challenge this week for you is For The Boys, so this is the card that my kiddos will give Lance for Father's Day. I used the sketch from Ribbon Carousel Challenge from last week (I always seem to be a week late!!) Anyway, it was a great layout for a masculine card like this, so I used it anyway!!

Today is my little man's kindergarten graduation. He looks so spiffy and is so excited for today...but with mixed emotions. This is a little boy who really didn't want to be at school at all, he is my sidekick, my shadow, and he didn't want to be away from me at all. For the first 6 weeks of school I would have to wait with him until the bell rang and walk him to his classroom.

Now...while he is excited to be done school for the year, he really loved his kindergarten teacher Mrs Ballance and wished she would follow him through school! His grade 1 teacher is Mrs Schmidt and she going to be wonderful. I'm off to his graduation this afternoon

Happy Graduation! TESC139

Here I am back to share with you the graduation cards I made for 3 kids on my bus that graduated last weekend. I made 2 girl cards and 1 boy card and included an iTunes gift card, not much, but my gosh they all loved it, so that made my day. All 3 of them are really great kids and will have a bright future! For all you hockey fans out there, Theo Fleury was even at their grad...so a wee little town like Bassano, that was the talk of the town!!

I used the sketch from Taylored Expressions for my layout as well as stamps from the Dream Big stamp set that is from TE as well. Echo Park paper and CTMH buttons.

Now, here is the pretty girl version. Same stamp set, but these papers are from the Taylored Expressions kit from last month. Love these kits...everything coordinates and I love that!

Oldie But Goodie day, DDCC & A Deconstructed Sketch!

Hello, hello! Thanks for stopping by today! It is Oldie But Goodie day here today as well as Dutch Dare challenge day and until a day consists of more than 24 hours...I have had to combined both challenges for my card today...and just to make life fun, I also added a third with a sketch from Deconstructing Jen! My card is too late to be entered this week, but I liked the sketch and it worked well with what I needed so I decided to go ahead with it anyway!

I have used Bigsby from Karen's Doodles (I can't seem to find the image in the store right now, so I will have to come back and link it up). Kirsten is off to a birthday party tomorrow so this will work perfectly for that. The colors are based on the gorgeous bedding inspiration picture over at Dutch Dare this week and this was my take on it.

I have a couple of graduation cards I made for 3 of the kids off my bus that graduated this past weekend and I'll be back tomorrow to share those with you!

Good day to you all and thanks for stopping by today! I have a fun Karen's Doodles image to share with you using the Dutch Dare sketch from this week..what a way to combine hey!!

I have used Date Night from Karen's Doodles and although it's one of her "older" images, it's perfect for many occasions.

Our challenge over on the Dutch Dare blog is a wonderful sketch, so I have used that for my layout.

Just counting down the days until summer holidays. I know a lot of kiddos in the US are done or almost done school, but we go right until June 27th!! The kids do have some fun field trips planned in the next few weeks though, so it's all good!! Then it'll be 2 fabulous months of what-the-heck ever we want to do!!

Just a note to any visitors over there...I did a major overhaul of the blog but since Blogger was having a couple of bad hair days, not only are posts missing, but all my hard work of changing the blog so that it was fresh and easy to read is gone...so it will be a work in progress to get it back tot he way I liked it, but I'll be working on it over the weekend.

Hey there everyone! Wow when blogger is down it kinds throws everyone for a loop doesn't it! I had just re-done the Dutch Dare blog and it was looking awesome, I was so happy that I got it all figured out...finally and now...oh wow, it looks like my 5 year old tried to change it up and posts are still missing....yikes!!

Anyway, here I am with the Oldie But Goodie card for this week, luckily my post on the Karen's Doodles blog made it intact!

I have used the super fun Dance Fever Set for my image and the sketch is from The Sweet Stop (last weeks now as the new one is up).

Double Duty-DDCC & OBG

Oh my gosh, I had this ready tot post and then saved it instead of publish...it was about midnight, so maybe I was half asleep! Sorry!

I have 2 cards to share with you today and they are for two separate challenges.. amazing I didn't combine them I know!!

The first one is for this weeks Dutch Dare challenge which is a fabulous sketch by our fabuluos Dorcas!

Oldie But Goodie-April 28

How on earth does time by so fast?? I thought with having a week off, I would have lots of time to craft away, but no such luck. We have been taking it easy and enjoying the nice weather that has finally made an appearance in Southern Alberta...for now at least...rain and snow expected tonight/tomorrow.

I have a cute lil card to share with you today. Oldie But Goodies day is back at Karen's Doodles and this sweet gal is called Flower Girl.

Our fun theme over at Dutch Dare this week is Mom, so I thought this gal would work perfectly for a Mother's Day card or even a birthday card for Mom. I used the fun sketch from last week at My Time Made Easy and although I am too late to enter the challenge, I really liked the sketch, so I used it anyway!

Enjoy your Thursday, we are off to visit with my parents today and tomorrow, so I won't be back for a few days, but I will be back with a fun new card for The Hotspot Challenge!

Oldie But Goodies-SSS104-Love At First Sight

I am so excited that today is our last day of school until May 2nd!! Yahoo for some down time! After Easter dinner and such wraps up on Sunday, I hope to just relax. We will be meeting up with my sister Kristy and my adorable nephew Jaxon and hopefully will get a chance to see my parents as well (they are Sandpoint, Idaho bound this weekend, so we'll miss them for Easter). All in all I am just glad we aren't on the go for the next bit.

I have an adorable little girl to share with you today. This image is called Love At First Sight and is available at Karen's Doodles. She is one of Karen's "older" images, but cute nonetheless.

The challenge at Karen's Doodles this week is Lots Of Layers, so why don't you join in the fun, you could even win some Karen's Doodles images of your very own...and there are some brand new ones available too!

I have used the fabulous sketch over at The Sweet Stop for my layout...I just didn't add text, I used the fun pennant border die and coordinating stamp set from Taylored Expressions instead.

So there we have it!! I see I have reached 200 followers and my gosh, that is so exciting! I remember when I first started my blog, I honestly thought I could twist my sisters arms into "following" me but never did I think I have have 200 fabulous followers! Thanks everyone! I will be making a surprise draw during our spring break and will post it on the blog-o!

Mid Month Catch Up with Hot Spot Challenge-HSC3

Hey there everyone! Thanks for popping by today to see what I have for you. I missed the first of the month for mt DT spot for Studio 313 at The Hotspot Challenge, so I'm playing catch up right now and have a mid month project for you. Our theme this month is Earth Day/Trash Art, so show us your recycled works of art, whether i be using a Kleenex box as DP or re-using a container like I did, we want to see what you can do.

I have used a container from one of my Gold Canyon Halloween candles and thought this was a nice container so I ran it through the dishwasher and it's like brand new! Kirsten wanted to use it for her coloring pencils and such so that's why I chose Studio 313's new Princess Cupcake for my image and those fun Echo Park papers again! I have a strip all the way around the center (although you can't really see it because of the Primas, but it's there) and then the main image, along with some pretty Prima flowers. Kirsten loves the liquid applique and stickles, so it's all decked out, just waiting to dry but otherwise ready for her craft table!

Be sure to pop by the Hotspot blog to check out the challenge and see all of the absolutely wonderful creations. Our challenge are monthly, so you still have a couple weeks to get your entry in. You can use any image you like, but of course if you have some fabby Studio 313 images, why not use them!! Oldie But Goodie Meets April's SFYTT

Oh man, another week has ran away on me....I thought I would have a routine sorted out by Oct/Nov ish and now it's April and only 2 months of school left and I still run around like a chicken with my head cut off!! If it's not one thing it's our lovely Alberta weather...our road to the Trans Canada highway (our only way out) has been flooded and we finally got a pump there and it has been pumping water 24 hours a day since Friday and still is, now... the creek that runs through our place has flooded...it's not threatening the house and my FIL tells me it won't come that high, I am just hoping he's right!!

I thought I better get my act together and get something done in the crafty world! Here is my Oldie But Goodies card for Karen's Doodles this week.

I have paired it with the sketch for Aprils SFYTT over on Jen's blog. I just got this cute cute Little Girl paper from Echo Park and love it!! My image is called Rainy Day and of course can be found in Karen's fantabulous store!!

Thanks for popping by my somewhat sporadic blog lately...but I'll be back and posting more often soon! Oh...and I see I have 199 followers, how awesome is that...when I jump over the mountain to 200, I will surprise one of my lucky followers with a CTMH goodie pack! Oldie But Goodies Time!! SSS102

Yikes, I've been gone for a bit...well not really gone, but life has just been busy. Lance and the kids have been sick, our road is flooded and now I feel like I'm getting a sinus cold or something!! Anyway, I am back here with you this week to share a wonderful Oldie But Goodie image from Karen's Doodles. I think this is one of my very favorite images, so I'm happy to be working with it again! It's called Flowers For Mum and is available in Karen's store...along with a ton of other fun images too!!

I am also using Korin's wonderful sketch over at The Sweet Stop. Love her sketches!!

Sorry my pict is cut off a bit! I see I am at almost 200 followers....so when I get there, I will do a random draw for a CTMH prize pack for one lucky follower!! Please don't follow just to be entered in the prize drawing though, be fair to those that do follow faithfully:-)

Time just sneaks away on me and then I am down to the wire and have to combine challenges! So, yes, I have combined three challenges for my card today.

I have used the adorable Dragon Birthday from Karen's Doodles for my image and my Oldie But Goodies post, the layout is from Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #110 from this past week and the challenge at Dutch Dare this week is Distressing,so I have inked up and used my edge distresser on my papers!

Wow, I survived the carnival! Actually it turned out just fabulous! Everyone had a great time and I have heard all positive feedback! My sister's birthday was wonderful too, so all in all a great weekend! Now of course that the busy time is over, I have a wicked sinus infection...just my luck!

Anyway, here I am back with another fabulous Oldie But Goodie card for Karen's Doodles. I have used a great sketch from the gals over at Sketch Saturday.

I have used the super cute Turtle Bunny for my image and some fun papers that were still out on my crafty counter! I added some stickles to the egg and liquid appliqué to his fluffy tail and furry ears!

Oldie But Goodie & Dutch Dare

Yikes, it's been a bit since I've been here! Life has been super busy for the last week or so and won't slow down at all until after this weekend. You see, I sit on the executive board for our local skating club as well as am one of the carnival coordinators and our carnival is this weekend!! Wowza!! Sorry for the lack of posts, but I have been so busy getting everything organized and now also have 2 sick kids to deal with. Dress rehearsal and picture day is today, decorating tomorrow night and then carnival on Sat! We are also having a 30th birthday celebration for my sister Kristy at our house after the carnival!!

Anyway, I am here today to share a card I have made for a couple of things this week. First off, our Dutch Dare challenge this week is fabulous sketch from one of our teamies Dorcas and then I paired the sketch with my Oldie But Goodies post for Karen's Doodles using her adorable Easter Bunny Hop.

I'll be back with more crafty goodness for you next week! Life should slow down for sure as we will not have skating twice a week, so I will for sure have more crafty time!

I have used the adorable Easter Puppy for my card this week and paired that with the fun March SFYTT. Karen has a ton of super cute images for the upcoming Easter season, although this is an older image, there are a lot more super cute images from last year as well as some new cuties just released!

I know I'm a couple days late with this card, but time flew away on me this week! We have the week off school and it's almost over already! This week over at the Dutch Dare challenge blog we have a fabulous sketch for you made by our very own Dorcas. I am the sponsor this week, so one lucky winner will receive a CTMH prize package!!

I have used a fun set designed by Shawne and it's part 2 of the Help 4 Katie fundraiser.
