Summer Tilda Spring Card

I know my post titles aren't very exciting...not really sure how to change that either, but anyway...here's another Spring card I made for our get together night tonight at my friend Nikki's house. I had this really fun idea in my head and can still see it in my head. It didn't turn out like the idea I initially had, but I am happy with it now. Here is the side view soyou can see the "spring" in it....I used a much heavier cardstock this time instead of just a regular pattern paper weight and am happier with it.
Everyone made super cards tonight at Nikki's, some very fun creations!! I think they all used solid colored carsdtock and then embellished and such from there and I think that's what I'm going to try next time, they turned out fabulous!!
I stamped Tilda on watercolor paper, colored her in with Prismacolor pencils and blended with OMS, then cute her out. I stamped the bench on watercolor paper and colored the water and bench with Twinkling H2Os, hopefully you can see the lovely micro shimmer they have and then used a stipple brush for the sky...the patterned paper is my We R Memory Keepers, Tilda and Bench from Magnolia and the flip flops are from CTMH, stamped on watercolor paper and colored in with Hollyhock CTMH marker and a light pink Twinkling H2O as well...I totally forgot to see if I could get a picture of the dimension...I popped up the flip flops as well as the scalloped circle and Tilda is popped up on the bench as well!! Oh yes and I added Stardust stickles to her buttons, and wings and stardust glitter pen onthe little dots onher bathing suit..very sparkly IRL:-)
I hope you have a great night...sorry this is so late again....my days just seem to run away on me:-) Thanks so much for visiting me and please come back soon!!
P.S. Quick poll to my regular visitors and even first time visitors...do you like to see a supply list or recipe kinda thing or does it matter?? Thanks for your input!

  6. I forgot to answer the recipe question - I have wondered the same thing about whether I should put a recipe on my posts. I am quite happy for there not to be a recipe - people can always enquire if they really want to know. (Just 50cents worth)
