I used Charlotte and her cute kitty from Whiff of Joy and colored them in with my Copics, added some stickles, dew drops and a pretty CTMH snowflake and that's about it. The sentiment is from Whiff of Joy as well and was tucked in with a beautiful snowflake in my last order, thanks Katharina!!
I am definitely learning new things with my Copics. They do not work as well on watercolor paper as they do on Bazzill Coconut Swirl or even SU Whisper White. I have read that Neenah Classic and PTI are great as well as Wasau paper, so I'm going to continue my experimenting, but I do LOVE them!!
Thank you for visiting today!! Have a wonderful evening!!
~Kelly

ReplyDeleteOh wow!! Kelly this card is Super!! I Love it!! :) The snowflake is lovely!! You are doing really well with the Copics!! They do take a bit of experimenting I am finding!! :)
ReplyDelete*hugs*
Awesome card!! You are rocking with those Copics!!
ReplyDeleteThat is a darling image.
So adorable Kelly!
ReplyDeleteEveryone finds copics work differently on certain papers. I like using them on my SU! WW but a lot of people don't. When I use PTI it soaks up so much ink...wonder if that is why a few of my markers are DRY already?
I also picked up Georgia Pacific at Walmart in the States(we don't have it here...bummer). So if your parents are going down again soon, maybe they could stop and grab some for you...it's super cheap...maybe 5 or 6 bucks for a HUGE pack ;) It's not as white but works well!
Have a fab weekend!
You know what? lol...I'll cut some up into 1/4 sheets and send it to you...should have time to pop into the post office today!
ReplyDeleteI love this! I will have one Whiff of Joy stamp this coming week. LOL! I guess I'll make the best of what I have, right? LOL
ReplyDeleteGreat card...Love it!
Hi Kelly, Your Copic coloring is gorgeous! I have been using Wasau paper that I get at Wal-mart. It is pretty economical. I did splurge and get some Neenah Solar white from Ellen Hutson. It is a much thicker paper and works really well if you want to do lots of blending with different shades. You won't bleed out over your lines! Not that I am an expert by any means! Hugs Jeanette
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Kelly. Another great job!
ReplyDeleteGreat card!! Beautiful bright colors, great coloring with your copics!! Love this image! Love,
ReplyDeletejacqueline
Kelly, You card is just absolutely darling...I'm so inspired to ink up my Charlotte now! I love my Copics too but I just bought the peerless water colour pigments so I’m going to have to give them a go! I use Georgia Pacific paper with my copics. I stocked up on the last time we went to FLA....love it! Thanks for finding my blog...I'm sure glad to have found yours it is awesome!
