Thinking of the Janzen/Ginther Families

I made this card for the Janzen/Ginther families in Saskatchewan. You may have read about them on Julie's blog, and if not, you can do so here. Her pastors daughter-in-law is currently battling cancer and has 2 very young children. Julie has put a call out for cards to send to these families to let them know that everyone has them in their thoughts and prayers. I thought that since cancer touches the lives of so many, including our family with the recent passing of my mother-in-law, I would definitely send a card.
We actually made this card last night at my friend Nikki's house for our CTMH night. It is the Joy Fold Card from SCS. Beate's tutorials are wonderful as you all know!! Very fun and different from the everyday card.
I really love this paper, it it's called Boom-Di-Ada and is from CTMH. Rather bright and cheery compared to the other cards I have seen that are being sent in, but I thought that it would definitely bring a smile to their faces when they open it because of the lovely colors, I sure hope I'm right.
Here is the view when it's opened....

If you have a chance to make a card to send to these families, please click here for the address.
I've been tagged several times in the last week and have a fun award to share as well, so I'll post that a little later on!

Have a wonderful day!
