I did manage to get some cards made on Saturday for World Card Making Day and these are some of them! My friend Nikki invited me (I wasn't able to make it out, but I made them at home instead), but I did make a total of 32 cards for our Canadian Troops overseas who won't be home for the holidays. This way they will have a chance to send a nice hand made card home to their loved ones. Considering all they're doing for our country, it's the least I could do in return and I had a lot of fun too!!
So here is the first set I made....I used the same papers and layout, which by the way is from Sheetload, I forget exactly which month as I ended up using 3 different ones. I just changed the ribbons, sentiment and CB folder for each one...so 3 of the same but yet a bit different....
and this one...
and finally this one...
I made 6 each of these 3 designs. The red textured cardstock actually matches really well IRL, but for some reason it is jumpin' out at ya in this pict.
Off I scoot for now, but I will be back with the other 2 Cards for the Troops in the next day or so!
Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to enter my blog candy...up at the top right of my blog:-)
Have a super day!!
