DDCC #85-Vintage Summer

Vintage is definitely not something I would say I have a clue about...however, the best part of challenge blogs is just that...hopefully they challenge you!!  This week's challenge over at Dutch Dare certainly did just that.

I looked forever trying to find paper suitable for something vintage and finally stumbled upon some  Basic Grey...Thank goodness too as I really don't have anything else.  I went with a sweet Magnolia image and colored her with Prismacolor pencils.  It's been a long while since I've used those, so it was quite interesting to say the least!  I used Taylor's TESC 121 for my card was from a while back, but I thought it worked well with my circles!

After seeing everyone else's creations, I think I would change a few things about my card BUT, although I was frightened by this challenge as it's not my style so to speak, I really enjoyed it and I think the end result is ok!

I hope you will pop on over to the Dutch Dare blog and have a look at the wonderful VINTAGE SUMMER creations and join in the fun with us your Vintage Summer...please, I need some inspiration if this theme pops up in any of my DT challenges again..LOL, it really wasn't as dreadful as I'm making it sound, but so many of your do the vintage theme so well!
