Wow, it's been a while since I've posted here. We have had a wonderful summer!
Time for another fun challenge from Di's Digis Challenge! We are asking to see your Wedding/Anniversary/Engagement creations. I have used the oh-so-sweet Little Lou from Di's fabulous shop for my image. She really is adorable and could be used for a bunch of different occasions.
My image isn't necessarily related to an anniversary card, but that's what I'm using it for. I will be sending this little cutie to my sister and brother in law as they will be celebrating their anniversary at the end of the month.
Our sponsor this challenge is Joanna Sheen!!
So be sure to print off your Di's Digi images and play along with us. Of course you do not have to use an image from Di's Digis, but if you do, you'll be entered to win 2 digis of your choice from Di's store. Every Monday Di releases new images and my gosh, if you haven't checked them out yet, you must!! There is so much to choose from, I love them all!
We ended up staying a week longer in Sandpoint, Idaho for our summer vacation-which was fabulous, came home on Aug 12th then was hit my a major hail storm Aug 14th, so that left me no time to create with anything other than what I had in my library. Although my sweet image may not be directly related to Wedding/Anniversary or Engagement, I still think she's adorable!
Here's a picture of the West side of our house....
and our 5th wheel travel trailer (every window is broken and every vent, the a/c covers, etc on the roof is broken as well). It really is all a mess.
Our yard looks absolutely terrible, broken glass, siding, patio chair pieces, pieces from trees and hedges all over the place, not to mention how the ground looks all beat up, but nothing we can do, we are just awaiting insurance adjusters to come and look and then see where we go from there. I am so very thankful that we were not hurt nor were any of our animals!
I would like to thank all of my faithful readers for hanging in there with me while I have enjoyed a fabulous summer! Hope to see you play along with the Di's Digi challenge this week and don't forget, Dutch Dare is having a DT call!!
Kelly this is so beautifully designed. Lovely colours and embellishments. Everything works together perfectly. I hope that the insurance will cover all the terrible hail damage.

ReplyDeleteOh dear! What a terrible mess the hail storm caused! The weather in the UK is wet and miserable a lot of the time, but we have to be very grateful that we don't get such extreme storms, and I imagine it's a frightening experience too!
I hope the insurance sort it all out for you soon.
Hugs Elaine xx

Cute card ,it's a happy one, so it's appropriate for an anniversary card! I can so relate to the hail damage . The last huge storm here, brought tennis ball sized hail and our house suffered like yours And we lost a car. Our daughter's car was totaled. I'm glad no one was hurt and good luck getting it all back together.
