~For The Birdbrains Blog Hop

Welcome to our From the Heart Stamps blog hop. Our theme this month is “For the Bird{brains}”. Our designers are showcasing lots of gorgeous projects and some fun new opportunities this month too!  Please be sure to read to the end of the post so you don't miss the fun stuff we have available for you during this hop!

Here is my project, it's a JOY fold card using my very favorite birdbrain- Birdbrain Hula Chick.  I have used the basic Joy fold tutorial from Splitcoaststampers but  I wanted the finished size of my card to be 6" square so I changed the dimensions.  For my base it is 6'"x 9" and scored at 3" and then the part that I have the Hula Chick on is 4 1/2" x 9" and scored at 4 1/2" and then I just cut around the birdbrain, matted it and stuck it down.  The wooden sand dollar hold the corner when the card is together:-)
