Winter Wishes

It seems like I'm turning into a night poster maybe! It's just an easier time for me to have a bit of time to sit down and actually write a post, so if you see more posts appearing at night instead of in the morning, that's why!

I stumbled upon a new challenge blog and although it's not new to the blogging world, this is the 53rd challenge, but it's new to me. It's called Eat, Sleep, Stamp and she has some wonderful sketches. Again, I am just in under the wire but here is my card for ESS # 53.

I used Mimo is Christmas from Bunny Zoe's and the bear is actually colored, but it's Copic color W00 so it doesn't show up very well in the pict..it is super light anyway.  The dsp and cs is SU, the ribbon is from a Taylored Expressions grab bag, the rhinestones are Basic Grey Bling It and the snowflake charms are from Bunny Zoe's as well.

Like I said yesterday this is my last day as the September Guest Designer for Bunny Zoe's Crafts and I would like to take this opportunity to thank the fabulous Nikki for giving me this great honor!  It was wonderful!

Aspen Winter~GS#5~Bunny Zoe's GDT Card

Over on the Get Sketchy blog they have another wonderful sketch this week. Now there is a bonus challenge which I totally didn't even see until now, but it is to make your own embellishments...oops, I guess I should have read everything instead of just getting to the sketch!  Ha, ha!  Anyway, yet another fun challenge, so head on over and check it out. Here's my card using this weeks sketch for Get Sketchy as well as my wonderful Guest Designer position at Bunny Zoe's Crafts

How about this stamp...isn't it just too cute!  It's from Bunny Zoe's Crafts online store and is called Mimo is Christmas.  The snowflake charm is from this set but is also available here and the dark blue sisal (I guess it's actually Black, but it looked blue to me:-) is also from Bunny Zoe's Crafts .  All paper is CTMH (Aspen DSP, Twilight, Bamboo and Outdoor Denim CS) as are the brads and the beautiful flowers from Prima.  I embossed the one blue piece and then inked the edges of all of the dark blue paper with white ink and rubbed it over the embossed snowflakes a bit too.

I hope your week is going well so far!  Monday's are super busy for me, Landon has started playschool, I go to the gym while he's in school and then I am taking a photography class in the evening, so I didn't have a chance to get anything crafty done yesterday!

Thanks so stopping by!

Birthday Wishes

August is full of birthdays with us and here's a card I made for one of them.

I used one of the very cute Bildmalarna stamps I got from Bunny Zoe's fabulous online store. It is Mimosa with Flowers and she's adorable! There are a ton of new images as well as the oh so very cute Bells & Whisltes line. Have a peek.

I used one of the Mojo anniversary sketches, MojoJanette for my layout and some fun MME papers, of course Mimosa and my Spica pens for some glitter...although it doesn't show up very well in this pict. Teh sentiment is from Aud Designs.

Off I run, only a couple more loads of laundry and I should be ready to hit the road again! This time we are going to the Fairmont Hot Spring Resort for my sisters wedding.

Thanks for visiting!

DDCC#60-SFYTT-Skateboard Boy

Over on the Dutch Dare Card Challenge blog we have a great challenge for you to get out your punches and/or cutting dies and incorporate them into your card...actually it's something everyone pretty much does anyway, so really it's a easy challenge!

Here is the card I made for this challenge and I used Jen's great SFYTT from Saturday. This sweet young boy is Mimo Skate that I got from the fabby online store Bunny Zoes Crafts.

Used some fun MME papers and Bazzil cs and it's done. I used the star CB die and of course my nesties as well.

My sister Kristy is here today and tomorrow and we are going to be busy making wedding thank you cards as well as programs! Hopefully we get something accomplished, but my expectations are not very high...you see the kids are so excited she's here that I think crafting will take a back seat! Oh well, I will get them finished in time...we still have 6 weeks.

Thanks you for stopping in and have yourself a fabulous day!
