Dutch Dare # 65-All in Your Pocket...or not!

This week's challenge over on the Dutch Dare blog is called All In Your Pocket. Now it's a cute little pocket card that would be fun, I just didn't end up using it for this challenge..not very good participation I know, but I had problem after problem, first I didn't wait long enough for the image to dry and smeared everything, then I reprinted it and didn't realize it was way to big, then I made the pocket card as per the instructions and my image was bigger than the card, so I gave up and used the fun image but made a card instead!

All of the paper is from CTMH, the brads as well.  I added Shimmerz to the heart (Angel Wings) and to the moon (Beeswax) for some shimmer of course!

The layout is one of Jeanette's fabulous sketches.  You can find all of them right here. I actually thought this was the sketch fro Friday Sketchers this week, but I flubbed up there too, it was her first sketch not the 7th (like it is for FS)  Anyway, onto another creation....

Thank you for stopping by, I love the company and of course the wonderful comments, but most of all, I love "meeting" new people that stop by and all of my great bloggin' friends!

Thinking of You-DDCC#60 & FS68

Yay, it's Dutch Dare Challenge time and this week we have a fabulous color inspiration challenge for you. I just bought this digi image from Lindsay Weirich and thought it worked well with the inspiration piece. It's called Sketchy Cosmos.

The paper is all from the CTMH Tickled Pink kit, the sentiment is from the For Every Occasion set from CTMH as well. The pretty pink Sisal ribbon is from Bunny Zoe's Crafts and is just tucked in behind the floral panel. I added some bridal flowers that I colored with my Copics along with some pretty blue Kaiser pearls.  I also added some glitter to the flowers with my Blossom Spica Glitter pen.

** Edited to add that this is the sketch from this week's Friday Sketcher's Challenge #68, sorry ladies!!  I just tilted my sentiment to fit better**

Oh my gosh, the intervals class that I started yesterday was tough...but really good.  It was fun although I'm a bit un-coordinated at times!!  So now, I'll go every Mon & Wed morning while Landon is in playschool, so it works out great!

Off I scoot for today, but thanks for poppin' in.

New Look & High Hopes Release

Hello there!! I have been playing around with my blogger template and such trying to create a 3 column one that I like. The spacing needs to be figured out a bit more and I have no idea about HTML anything unless I can copy and past, so that may be a continued work in progress for me.

I bought the blogwear from The Shabby Shoppe same place where I got the layout for the picts from Kirsten's birthday. It was easy enough to add my blog name and titles to the sidebar headers, but I think I am done in the digi world for now.

I would love your thoughts, good or bad, I know it's a change, but I like it!!

Have you had a chance to check out the new High Hopes release...81 brand new images and sentiments, they are awesome...go have a look.

Have a super Sunday!
