Christmas in July with LPCOF Round 2

We are continuing the Christmas In July fun with Lil Patch of Crafty Friends!  Our challenges are always Anything Goes and for the month if July, we are featuring Christmas projects!

Our lovely sponsor this time around is Pattie's Creations and I have used Joy 2 for my card.  Slimline cards seems to be popping up here, there and everywhere so I thought I would try them out!

This paper is called Oh What Fun and is from Close To My Heat and was part of our seasonal catalog a while back but I love the colors and whimsical images so though it worked well with this fun image.  Added some snowflakes, CANDi embellies, and I know it's hard to see but I added some shimmer using a clear shimmer brush from CTMH.

I sure hope you will join us...these challenges run weekly right now and then we are back to bi-weekly challenges again come August.

~Party Gnomes with LPOCF

Hotspot Finale & Dutch Dare

 Thursday is here already!!  Wow, this week has flew by!  I think i say that every week at about this same time!  I have a mid month reminder card to share with you today that is for the final Studio 313  Hotspot Challenge.  Our challenge for you is white on white with one color.  Here's my card:

My second card for you today is for the Dutch Dare challenge this week which is monochromatic. A tough one for me, not sure why.  Actually the card above would work as well!  But I wanted to use an image from our sponsor this week, Pattie's Creations, so I made another!

Dutch Dare #118- Clean & SImple

 We are down to one day left of school here...yipee!!!  I may have to pick up a few kids on Monday for an exam, but will be done by 11:30, so either way it's ok. 

It's Dutch Dare challenge time again and this week we are asking you to share your Clean & Simple creations with us.  I'm not so much of a CAS card maker, but here is my interpretation of CAS.

I have used one of Pattie's Creations images for my card as she is our lovely sponsor this week and thought an ice cream cone would be fun.

Sorry this is short and sweet, but this week is kicking my butt and I am exhausted!!  I still have to share the wedding invites with you too...I will try and get some decent picts in the daylight.
