Anniversary Wishes

Hey there!! I really love Lily & Milo and thought they work perfect for lovey dovey cards such as anniversary, engagement would be great too, but I don't know anyone that is newly engaged...so anniversary it is!! Quick question...I stamped the image with Black Stazon but had a really hard time when it came to blending with OMS and the ink smearing...anyone else have these troubles? I usually use Timber Brown Staz On and have never had a problem...I do have Archival Black Ink by Ranger, so I may try that next time, but just wondering what you use for a black ink.
Lance has gone on another cow/calf finding mission. He would like 30 pairs to put on our place down at Seven Persons. We have just bought 26 pairs for our place here where we live and added them to the ones we already have, but we have a grazing lease down at Seven Persons that is in desperate need of some critters. He has bought some, they just need to be branded and vaccinated and the cattle liner to pick 'em all up and take then the their new home. The kids and I were going to meet him, but the city closest to Seven Persons is Medicine Hat and they are having a province wide track meet all weekend, so there is not a hotel room available anywhere!! Unfortunately we haven't had a chance to buy a new 5th wheel yet either, so it looks like we're staying home:-(
I hope you have a great weekend, thank you so much for visiting!!

  1. Oh my ... how cute Kelly! Those little images are darling!

You know I haven't used my Prisma pencils and Gamsol for so long but I'm sure I used my SU! basic black ink...not stazon...but I could be wrong...lol.

Sorry that you and the kids are stuck at home with no being able to get a hotel room and all. We thought about coming down your way and going to Millerville to visit the gravesites but will do that on our way by in July.

Have a nice weekend with the kids.

  2. These images help to make such a cute card Kelly! Your colouring looks fabulous! What a pain to have your ink smear - I always use brilliance black - but I'm like Dawn - I haven't used my pencils for awhile so I kind of forget! - age takes care of a lot of things ya know! LOL!

  3. This is gorgeous Kelly. It is perfect for our challenge at A Spoon Full of Sugar. Go and enter as you could win a Rachelle Anne Miller Stamp. Details are on my blog. Stazon as you've discovered is no good with gamsol as the lighter colours muddy. I use Memories ink which I bought in Joannes. I believe the Archival ink should work a treat thought. Have a great weekend. Hugs, Nikki x
