Speedy Recovery

I made this card last night for my Grandma. I used Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge #55 and had fun with it, it's a really great sketch and I will definitely be using it again.
I was going to go and visit my grandma today, but Lance is actually going to Calgary for work tomorrow and was going to see his grandma anyway (if he feels better and isn't still so stuffy), so I decided that instead of making 2 trips, that the kids and I will just go tomorrow afternoon to the hospital to see my grandma, then meet Lance for supper and then go and see his grandma after supper, that way both great grandmas get to see the kids...and I don't have to cook supper;-)
Well the countdown is now on for Kirsten to start school. She is so excited about only having 3 more sleeps until her first day of kindergarten (orientation day) and gets to see her best buddy Olivia!!
Well, off I go to get on with the rest of my supper for tonight...roast is in the oven, I need to get some potatoes peeled, and Landon's favorite...gravy, Yorkshire pudding and cauliflower...weird favorites for an almost 3 year old, but he loves it, so it works for me!!
Thanks for stopping by and hope you're having a fabulous Monday!!
~Kelly

  1. Hi Kelly, Your card for Grandma is beautiful. I love the colour scheme and the gorgeous image. Grandma will love to see your kids too and will sure cheer her up to see their smiley faces. If I'm not back again before Thursday I hope Kirsten enjoys her first day at school. Zoe is also back Thursday. We will get the official date for Danni next Tuesday. I have a little something for you on my blog. Sorry I didn't get to tell you yesterday but it's hiding under my new post ;-) Have a great day. Love and Hugs, Nikki x
