Skater Girl_KDUS03

I am so excited to be back again with another fun Karen's Doodles Challenge.  This week you need to make a fancy fold card...so basically anything other than a  regular A2 size or square card.  Joy fold, easel card, anything fun you can think of.

and  here is the inside...

I chose a joy fold card and just guesstimated measurements as I wanted to make my card 6" x 6". ***Edited to Add~ I thought I should take the measurements, so I knew how to make it again, but for anyone out there that would like to make a 6" card as well.  The main piece is 6" x 9" and scored at 3" and the inside piece is 8 7/16" (yes I know a great round number!!) x 4 1/4" and scored at 4 1/2".  I then basically just eyeballed the main image and mats.  The inside pieces are 6 7/8" square (pomegranate cs) and 6 3/4" square (MME pp).  The outside left piece is 2 7/8" x 5 7/8" (pomegranate cs) and 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" (MME pp).  Hope that helps!***

The fabulous prize up for grabs this week is really 3prizes...

Head on over and check out the DT samples and I hope you play along with us this week!

I used Skater Girl for my image and I know it is March and not really winter weather out there, but we just had our skating carnival yesterday and I need a thank you for a local skating club.  We borrowed some really fun figure skate decorations and what's better than a figure skater for a thank you???  The inside figure skate is a 2 pc Quickutz die.

I also wanted to mention that I started a blog for my daughter this afternoon called Kirsten's Krafty Kreations.  She really loves the Karen's Doodles images that I get to play with and wanted to know if there was something she could do.  Well...Karen's Doodles has a kids challenge blog as well, so she is happy to get to play along with me too!  If you have a spare moment and could pop over and say, she would love it and I would appreciate it so much!
