Oldie But Goodies-OBGJAN12 & Dutch Dare-All Stitched Up!

Oldie But Goodie day here with Herbert!  He is so sweet and I must say looks pretty spiffy!!  My kiddos are off to a birthday party this weekend (crossing our fingers, it was cancelled last weekend due to a horrible blizzard) and I thought this would be cute for the birthday girl!  I have used Herbert Birthday Cake as my image and really he can be used for girls, boys, young and old, so a very versatile image!

I used some fun American Crafts papers, CTMH cardstock, Whimsy die and stamp set and of course my Martha border punches and primas.

Onto card # 2 for today...can you believe 2 cards in one post, yes I know, I scare my self some days!

This Sassy young lady is from Sassy Studio Designs and is for our now weekly... Dutch Dare challenge which, this week, the challenge is All Stitched Up.

Her name is Cheerful Chelsea.  Love the peace necklace on her...everything with my daughter is peace these days, so she really like this girl too!!

As you can tell my faux stitching (stamping LOL!!) skills need as much improvement as if I had stitched with a  sewing machine!    However, hop on over to the DDCC blog and see how the other gals can actually sew  on their cards successfully!!  Not only will you see some fabulous artwork, but we have 2 fantastic sponsors this week too!

Happy Crafting!
